Where are you located?

I am located outside of the Jackson Metro Area, but I do travel for weddings!

Is there a travel fee?

Location must be within a 30 mile round trip radius from Brandon, MS to avoid travel fees. Travel fees are based on the current IRS mileage rate to and from Brandon, MS.  An estimated local hotel fee may be applied for locations out of state or more than 2 hours from Brandon, MS. Locations more than 4.5 hours from Brandon, MS may require hotel and/or airfare.

Is a deposit required to book my wedding date?

When booking 60 days or more prior to your wedding, a non-refundable deposit of $1200 is due when booking, along with a signed contract in order to secure your wedding date. Payments can be made online or via check/money order. The remaining payment is due 30 days before your wedding. The remaining balance can be paid in installments if desired. Mississippi sales tax will be added to the collection of your choice.

Does a venue need to be secured before securing you as our wedding photographer?

Yes, I require all clients to have a venue secured prior to securing me as their photographer.

Do you choose the location(s) for engagement & bridal sessions?

I have a list of great public places that are suitable for pictures. I will collaborate with you to help you choose a location for your session. If you have a special place you would like to have your photographs taken, let me know. If it is private property, hotel or establishment, be sure to work out the details and fees with the property owner prior to the session.

What is a Print & Album Credit?

Print and album credits can be used towards the purchase of an heirloom album, album upgrades and professional prints & products in your online gallery.

How many photos will I receive?

It really depends on the wedding collection you choose, your following of the suggested wedding photography timeline, and your wedding details. A typical 8 hour wedding day that follows the suggested timeline will yield a minimum of 600 edited images. Most clients will find a lot MORE than the minimum amount of images in their gallery.

What is an online gallery?

An online gallery is a private gallery used for viewing, downloading, and purchasing images. You can easily share the gallery with family and friends as well as order professional prints & products. Click here to learn about Professional prints vs non-professional prints

Do you edit images?

All images are edited based on my photography style before being uploaded to your gallery. Editing is the process of adjusting brightness, contrast, color, white balance, etc. Retouching is the process of removing skin blemishes, dark spots, stray hairs, evening skin tone, making skin smoother, and whitening teeth.

Can I get retouched images?

Yes, retouching (removing skin blemishes, dark spots, stray hairs, making skin smoother, whitening teeth, etc.) is available for $20 per image. Retouching can be ordered after your images have been uploaded to your gallery. I will retouch the image, upload it to your gallery, and then it will be available for you to download.

Do you offer sneak peek images after the wedding day?

Yes, sneak peek images will be shared 1-2 days via my social media accounts. A sneak peek gallery of images is provided within 2 weeks of the wedding day for downloading and sharing with family & friends.

When will I receive my photos?

Engagement and Bridal images will be ready within 2-3 weeks. Wedding images will be ready within 6-8 weeks.

Do you offer wedding videography or can you refer us to a videographer?

Coriss Watson Photography specializes in photography only. I do however have recommendations for videographers that I can provide you with.

Do you have back-up equipment in case of malfunction?

Absolutely! We came well equipped with multiple back-up cameras, lenses and gear in case of a malfunction.

Do you have a replacement wedding photographer in case you become unavailable for our wedding day?

Thankfully, I have never been in a situation where I could not physically photograph a wedding. Unless I am hospitalized, I will make all efforts to be there on your wedding day. However, in the unlikely event that I am unable to photograph your wedding, I will provide you with the option to have a replacement photographer that meets my standards. If you desire to forgo the replacement photographer, options will be discussed for return of payments.
